Referral rewards have long been a part of recruitment, but candidates are rarely rewarded for their part in the process – apart from finding their ideal job, of course! When Route1 launched, we replaced a referral scheme with a charitable donation for every associate hire we make: £500 to War Child and £500 to the Employer’s chosen charity.

After all, it is you that are going to help us change the recruitment market! So, from now on, all of our candidates will receive a guaranteed sign-on bonus when they start their new role.
It’s not a new concept in the developing shakeup of the recruitment market – there are many of our competitors who give a fixed amount to the candidate when they start, passing on the cost savings. For example, Lex-Step give their candidates £2,500. But we know that Route1 can do more. With average NQ salaries in London above £70,000, that would be a bonus of £3,500. Or, if you were starting at a top US firm, a bonus of over £7,000. This amount naturally increases the more senior you get.
All you have to do is sign up with Route1, search for your ideal role, and make your applications. It’s that simple. When you are successful and start your new job, we’ll give you 5% of your basic salary in two tranches.
