• Universal Pictures were the first of the modern Hollywood studios, and over their one hundred years, they have been responsible for some of the world’s most memorable feature films.
  • This in-house position will report to the Executive Vice President, Business Affairs (based in Los Angeles) and work with senior business, finance, acquisitions and international distribution executives to structure, negotiate, document and administer agreements and other key documents for the distribution of feature films.
  • On this role you will negotiate and prepare (or oversee the preparation of) agreements for all facets of motion picture acquisitions for international exploitation, including negative pick-up/acquisitions, local language and English language co-productions, security agreements securitizing the rights acquired, assignments and releases as well as related financing documents including interparty and intercreditor agreements.
  • You will have an in-depth knowledge of the film industry with a proven track record of problem-solving legal expertise.
  • You will have demonstrated intellectual property licensing and/or film, television or media production legal experience.
