  • About the role: RBC are seeking an in-house Senior legal Counsel to provide legal support to RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM), the asset management division of the Royal Bank of Canada, which includes the RBC Global Asset Management (UK) Limited (RBC GAM UK) institutional asset management business in Europe
  • Looking For: We are looking to secure your expertise and asset management legal experience gained in private practice and in-house, together with your experience with both UCITS funds and cross-border transactional matters and drafting and negotiating discretionary investment management agreements.
  • Opportunities: You will have the opportunity to provide advice on client-facing agreements including discretionary investment management agreements and distribution agreements, cross-jurisdictional matters and liaising with external counsel as appropriate; and provide legal support to portfolio managers, operations, compliance and front office at RBC GAM (UK) in London and collaborate with RBC GAM and BlueBay legal teams in London, Toronto, Minneapolis and Hong Kong.
  • And more: You will also assist internal and external legal counsel and liaise with RBC GAM business contacts in providing legal support for Luxembourg-based UCITS fund promoted by RBC GAM.
