Senior Data Privacy Counsel

  • Cigna is a multinational company and a leading global health services provider, dedicated to helping people improve their health, wellbeing and sense of security.
  • In this in-house role, you will work closely with the International Privacy Office in relation to the implementation and effective delivery of business-wide data privacy strategy set out in the International Privacy Program across the multiple business units located throughout Europe.
  • Principal duties will include building relationships with and work closely with key internal stakeholders (including local international legal and compliance teams, local international operational units, and local and corporate resources including, U.S. Privacy Office, legal, IT, Information Protection, Internal Audit, Supply Chain Management, etc, and also with external bodies such as DPAs, to achieve the goals of the International Privacy Office.
  • You will have a minimum 5 years' experience of current data protection legislation (Data Protection Act 1998) and General Data Protection Regulation.
  • You will have strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills; strong decision-making capabilities and ability to identify problems and propose creative and effective solutions.
