NQ in Insurance & Reinsurance

NQ in Insurance & Reinsurance

  • About the Firm: Eversheds Sutherland is not your average law firm and we're not looking for average people. We do things differently - in the way we treat our people and the service we provide. This is how we've become one of the largest law firms in the world and a great place to work and develop your career.
  • About the role: We are recruiting an NQ to join our Manchester team. The team is unique outside of the city in advising a combination of insurers, intermediaries and policyholders in relation to a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious insurance issues. You will provide first rate client service on a range of insurance matters, giving you plenty of direct exposure to global clients.
  • Looking For: We are looking to secure not only your excellent academics but also your commercial and intelligent mind with the ability to think through complex problems under pressure. Although the role involves working on non-contentious matters, solicitors with contentious experience are encouraged to apply as there is the potential to work on insurance related disputes. We will also consider applications from Commercial solicitors looking for a change of focus.
  • Opportunities: Opportunities afforded to you will include, but not be limited to, advising on policy coverage, negotiating insurance policies across all classes of business; and advising on insurance regulatory issues such as interpretation of the FCA rules.
  • And more: You will benefit from a global class sales training programme – Franklin Covey – to give you the tools necessary to continue to build your expertise and will be supported by our impressive pitch team, which has high success rates, and a sector focused senior marketing team. Additionally, Eversheds Sutherland lead the way in legal technology giving you access to innovative and unique solutions for your clients.
