  • The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was founded in 1991 to create a new post-Cold War era in central and eastern Europe, furthering progress towards market-oriented economies and the promotion of private and entrepreneurial initiative.
  • The In-house Associate will provide research and operational support to the Team in the work on the legal reform projects related to corporate governance and public private partnerships.
  • Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to, assisting Senior Counsel with the preparation of legal reform projects and corporate governance action plans for EBRD’s investee companies – from the inception and concept preparation, through negotiation of the terms of reference and liaising with donors, to project implementation, including review of deliverables and coordination with external consultants and the relevant authorities.
  • You will have not less than two years of prior work experience as a lawyer, ensuring familiarity with the above-referenced practice areas, including conducting legal research, drafting and negotiating legal documentation.
  • You will have experience in corporate governance and/or public private partnerships would be an asset.
