Legal Counsel - Enforcement & Litigation

  • In this role you'll provide legal advice to PRA Supervisors on the use of formal supervisory powers, including investigation and/or enforcement action.
  • You'll also be invoved in scoping, conducting and leading on project managing enforcement investigations: gathering information and carrying out evidential reviews, conducting regulatory interviews and drafting statutory documents.
  • In addition, you'll advise decision makers on the various PRA executive committees whether breaches of legislation or PRA rules have occurred and exercise of the PRA enforcement powers.
  • You must have a minimum of 5 years practical post-qualification litigation and/or contentious regulatory experience.
  • We also require you to have experience gained in regulation, litigation, financial services or government/public sector.
