  • The Role: We are seeking to appoint an in-house Legal Counsel, Commercial (Central Banking Division).
  • Looking For: We are looking to secure your minimum of 5 years- PQE, commensurate with your time with a law firm, financial institution or public body; and your experience of advising on commercial matters.
  • Opportunities: The opportunities afforded to you will include, but not be limited to, working independently, developing and applying technical knowledge and judgment to advise relevant business areas on the matters covered by those divisions on complex legal issues, ensuring that agreed outcomes and timescales are met and that legal risk is adequately identified, managed and mitigated.
  • And more: You will have excellent oral and written communications skills; excellent legal analytical and drafting skills; and excellent legal risk awareness, evaluation and management skills including an ability to create solutions and deliver pragmatic outcome-focussed judgements that take account of the business environment.
