  • About the role: In this highly reactive in-house role, you’ll work on both ad-hoc tasks and large-scale projects as you support our international organisation in a variety of key areas. These will include compliance issues such as legal registration, company secretarial advice and data protection, assisting in the review of major contracts and protecting our global trademarks.
  • Looking For: We are looking to secure your commitment to our work, you might have already undertaken some voluntary or pro bono work. And whether your strengths lie in intellectual property, data protection, defamation, commercial contracts or litigation, you’ll bring us plenty of initiative and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Opportunities: You will have the opportunity to provide advice and direction on all legal matters affecting the International Secretariat of Amnesty International’s global operations, managing legal risks in an integrated manner to enable Amnesty International to maximize human rights impact.
  • And more: What’s more, as well as being fluent in English, a confident communicator and a proven team player, you’ll have no problem translating legal jargon into layman’s terms.
