  • About the role: We are seeking to appoint an in-house Legal & Business Affairs Manager to support the Director of Legal and Business Affairs by providing a commercial and effective business affairs service to the Warner Records label.
  • Looking for: Among your key attributes, we are looking to secure your abilities as a commercially orientated and confident communicator who is able to pick up the phone to get things done; your ability to draft and negotiate a variety of agreements in the best interests of Warner Records and in accordance with Warner Music Group commercial strategy and operational guidelines; and your ability to devise innovative solutions to difficult problems.
  • Opportunities: The opportunities afforded to you will include, but not be limited to, acting as a key member of the team, providing advice, negotiating competitive commercial terms and accurately drafting recording agreements), featured artist agreements, producer agreements, brand partnership agreements, and licenses; handling the offer process for recording agreements, coordinating with other departments and ensuring offers are submitted as quickly as possible; and corresponding with artists’ representatives in relation to contract requirements.
  • And More: Ideally, you will have some prior experience of the recorded music business and the relevant agreements (either within a law firm specialising in music work or through an in-house music team).
