  • About the Firm: We are a national law firm offering a unique collection of specialisms across the commercial, public, health and insurance sectors, with offices in Birmingham, Exeter, London, Manchester and Nottingham.
  • About the role: You will be expected to deal with a range of advice for clients across NHS bodies, local authorities and independent health and social care providers, as well as providing support with business development and supervision, where appropriate, within the national healthcare advisory and inquests team.
  • Looking For: We are looking to secure your expertise and familiarity with IT and ideally with experience of appropriate case management systems; together with your familiarity with on-line and library research facilities; and your attention to detail with the ability to explain/advise clients on complex technical aspects of process and procedure.
  • Opportunities: The opportunities afforded to you will include, but not be limited to, managing a caseload of varied cases of advice and representation on health and social care advisory issues, including for example mental health, court of protection, mental capacity and deprivation of liberty, inquests, medical treatment decisions and welfare planning disputes, safeguarding, access and funding disputes.
  • And more: You will be an enthusiastic team player, with strong inter-personal skills flexible, ambitious, focused and results oriented, who is keen to take responsibility and develop the business and possess good organisational skills and is able to manage time effectively.
