  • The Global Legal Counsel will be part of the Transactions Practice Group (TPG) based in London. The TPG is part of EY’s Global Legal function (GCO) and advises on matters including mergers and acquisitions, strategic business relationships, data security and privacy issues, network finance, intellectual property protection, organizational structures and branding and communications issues which affect the EY network of member firms.
  • We are looking for a senior lawyer with strong cross border mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance experience. Whilst this in-house role is based in our London offices, the role will involve working with EY member firms around the world and we are looking for a person who is able to apply their knowledge across borders.
  • Your responsibilities will be primarily M&A support including but not limited to: assisting and advising local legal teams and the relevant member firms on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and disposals and leading on transactions and leading on transactions undertaken in a cross-border context.
  • You will have a wide range of corporate and corporate finance experience including mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, funds, lending and security and basic commercial contracting.
  • You will be able to coordinate with and provide input to cross functional teams (e.g. internal tax, finance and corporate development office), and draft, review and negotiate various contracts and other documentation with internal and external parties on a wide variety of corporate matters.
