  • About the Firm: Comic Relief is an operating British charity, founded in 1985 by the comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Lenny Henry in response to the famine in Ethiopia.
  • About the Role: We are looking to appoint an in-house General Counsel to work in our London office on a 12-month FTC.
  • Looking for: Among your myriad attributes, we are looking to secure your Significant post qualification experience as a lawyer, including in-house; your broad legal experience (with anticipated expertise in media/technology/commercial and commercial and ideally also experience of charity law); and your experience at senior team/board level.
  • Opportunities: The opportunities afforded to you will include but not be limited to providing counsel to trustees, executive directors, the senior team and the organisation and advise on legal issues; and providing end to end legal advice for the organisation (including in relation to media, intellectual property, contracts and commercial, employment, fundraising, grants and corporate and charity governance).
