Corporate Lawyer - VP

The objective is to define the way we think, work and act at Barclays to ensure we deliver against our purpose of 'Creating opportunities to rise'.
This in-house role is to act as a VP within the corporate sub-team of GCTL, which is a team of company and corporate law lawyers within the wider GCTL team (which also includes capital markets specialists). This role focuses on corporate matters, rather than capital markets, however a general awareness of the latter is useful.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, leading in respect of certain areas of the legal review of, and corporate advice in relation to, quarterly financials, half-year and full year financial reports and AGM preparation and materials.
You will have experience of UK Companies Act/ Disclosure &Transparency Rules and Listing Rules.
You will have experience in an in-house role, in particular within financial services.
