Corporate Energy & Infrastructure Associate
Corporate Energy & Infrastructure Associate
- Herbert Smith Freehills, London
- Projects & Construction
- 3 PQE - 6 PQE
- We are looking for a junior associate to join our Corporate Energy & Infrastructure team in London, primarily to support our growing power and infrastructure practice.
- We are interested in hearing from associates/solicitors with experience of some or all of: private M&A; other corporate transactions such as joint ventures; complex commercial contracts; project development; and utility sector regulation.
- It is not necessary for that experience to have been in the power and/or infrastructure sectors, though such experience would be a bonus, and an interest in working in those sectors is important.
- We act for both financial and industry parties on M&A, other corporate transactions and complex commercial transactions, and also for project procurers, developers and lenders on the development of power/infrastructure assets.
- There may also be scope to work with our oil & gas sector team from time to time.
