  • In this in-house role you will perform the critical tasks of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, finalising, and maintaining signed commercial and intellectual property agreements for the dynamic, high growth Biosciences division (BID) of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global industry science leader, at our Paisley (Scotland) site.
  • You will serve as a resource to support the legal leads for the various Business Units within the Biosciences Division, providing support and assistance across a broad range of businesses and substantive legal areas as required.
  • Excellent writing and negotiation skills are required, as is the ability to adapt, use initiative and take decisions for the benefit of the business, with input from business unit legal leads and/or the Divisional Counsel as required.
  • This role requires a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification relevant legal experience including contract drafting, IP licensing, negotiation and related activities resulting in a thorough working knowledge of contract law. Commercial experience and working knowledge of standard business processes is essential.
