  • The Solicitor will provide effective legal support to Cancer Research Technology (CRT) across the full spectrum of its life sciences-focused activities.
  • The role will involve reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad range of legal agreements relating to collaborative research and the protection and commercial exploitation of intellectual property, especially licence agreements, research collaboration agreements and clinical trial agreements.
  • Another aspect of the role is drafting and negotiating corporate documents associated with the creation of new companies and the financing of established companies.
  • Furthermore, you'll assist CRUK in formulating policy in relation to its translational research activities and intellectual assets.
  • You must have a good working knowledge of intellectual property law (particularly patents), company law, competition law and the regulatory environment relating to pharmaceutical product development.
