- We are looking to appoint a Senior Costs Draftsman to manage the contentious costs work produced by the PI, Clinical Negligence and Travel teams, with possible future involvement in the expansion of the costs team.
- This is a new role, and a great opportunity for the right candidate to help shape and improve our costs practice whilst achieving efficiencies and improving our turnaround and recovery on costs.
- The successful candidate will report to the firm’s Costs Manager, whilst working closely with the partners in the PI, Clinical Negligence and Travel teams.
- The Senior Costs Draftsman will be responsible for the coordination and progression of costs work for the PI, Clinical Negligence and Travel teams, to include all bill drafting for the team (done in-house and externally), agreeing and managing fixed deadlines for costs files, and dealing with negotiations.
- The appointed Costs Lawyer will have significant experience of all aspects of both inter parties costs and solicitor/client costs work in clinical negligence and personal injury work.
