  • In this in-house role you will ensure that individual’s views are listened to and their concerns and issues are resolved as far as reasonably possible and that that individuals and their families know their rights and entitlements and that these are fully accessed and upheld.
  • You will empower individuals and their families to make informed choices about their care and treatment and to take greater control over their lives and make sure that individuals have greater knowledge and information on which to base their decisions.
  • Tile 4 In addition to your experience of working in Advocacy roles and managing your own case load, you will have the ability to write clear, factually accurate information for report writing to professionals and an awareness of quality standards and the Advocacy Charter.
  • You will have completed or willing to work towards the National Qualification in Independent Advocacy (Level 3), and also completed or willing to work towards additional specialist units: IMCA (305), DoLS (310), IMHA (306) or ICAA (313).
