Here is a New Year update on Route1 for our friends, customers and supporters.
January 2018 sees a major step in Route1’s development. Having rapidly built the largest GDPR compliant recruitment platform for lawyers and paralegals in the UK and Australia in the last 18 months, as our beta product, we have now licensed a software (SaaS) recruitment product based on our award winning technology. Our first licence is with Piper Pritchard, a leading legal search firm, who can now leverage our data platform and matching technology for their search function, as well as ensure GDPR compliance for their existing candidate database:
Piper Pritchard is part of the Helix group, which covers recruitment in the finance, TMT and consumer/retail as well as the legal sector, and they are keen to see how our platform technology could scale into these other sectors, both for permanent and temporary roles.
In a world where data is fast becoming a compliance threat as well as a powerful tool, we believe the GDPR is a game changer for the way recruitment will be undertaken in future.
Our product offering is not only GDPR compliant by design, but being a platform, it enables data analytics to be sourced and provided to employers on KPIs such as job offer take up rates, employment terms, and content engagement.
In addition to our permanent recruitment platform SaaS product, we are also developing enterprise software for the rapidly growing contract law services (CLS) provider market. This includes talent acquisition, database platform and matching tools. Many of these providers already use Route1’s recruitment platform to source their talent. As legal interim and contract staffing grows to become an important part of the legal services landscape, we believe a platform approach that provides data analytics for both contractors and clients will significantly enhance efficiency and their experience.
We look forward to another year of continued development and growth and wish you all the best for 2018.
