Law Rocks! has raised over $4m for charities in worldwide gigs over the past eight years.
On 7 November, there is a special Law Rocks gig in London, that includes bands from Keating Chambers, 2KBW, Penningtons Manches, CMS, and Irwin Mitchell at The 100 Club on Oxford Street. This famous venue has spearheaded the careers of The Sex Pistols, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and has now managed to lure The [famous] Ruggs away from their traditional Putney stronghold to play north of the river!
One of the Route1 founders plays bass for The Ruggs and, as a result, Route1 is supporting the event to assist with their fundraising for the Putney Gumps – aka Adam Constable QC and Johnnie Wraith – who fundraise for the Down’s Syndrome Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, by running twelve marathons in a year.
So, if you’re at a loose end next month, come and “pogo till you’re sore” and help raise money for them. You will be rewarded with a scintillating display from not only our founder on bass, but also from Adam Constable QC – who, in between running marathons, is the keyboard player for The Ruggs!
Tickets are available to purchase from the Law Rocks website.
We look forward to joining you there.
The Route1 Team
At Route1, we put charitable giving at the heart of our business. With each associate hire, we donate £1,000 to charity. Half of this donation goes to our charity partner, War Child UK, and half goes to the hiring firm’s charity of choice. So as our candidates make their next career move, they do so knowing they have made an immediate and tangible contribution to their new employer’s charity of choice – often a pro bono client.
Further information on our charity partnerships at Route1 can be found on our website.
